How to Set Up Gmail in Windows10

It is going to be happy news that now there is a simple and elegant way to view your Google email if you are using Windows 10. Its better than Outlook. Outlook may be a great email client for corporate employees, but not as much for the personal email.

All the new Mail, Calendar, and People apps can be synced with Gmail and Google contacts. Let 's get started now:

·         Let's start by setting up the Mail app first. The great thing about three apps in Windows 10 is that they are all integrated. If you added Google account to one app, it is attached to other two apps too. Each of the apps has the link to other apps in the sidebar. It is quite easy to switch between the apps.
·         To open the Mail app, just click on start and type mail. The result will be Mail- Trusted Microsoft Store app. The Mail app will be split into 3 sections: there will be a sidebar on the left where there will be a list of email accounts. In the middle will be a short description of all emails and in the center will be a brief description of all emails. The right pane will show all emails. Click on Accounts in the left sidebar, then click on Add account in right. A popup dialog will appear where you are liable to choose the email service provider.
·         You can also add an Exchange account, Yahoo email, I Cloud email or any other POP-enabled email account.  After that, you should get a successful message showing the report has been added to the windows. All the email from Gmail will now show up inside the new Mail Application. The Mail only indicates the Inbox.
·         So, now you have a bunch of Gmail labels, just go ahead and click on more link and it will upload, rest of the Gmail labels, which are folders in the mail app. if the panel disappears once you click it, it is a good idea to right click and choose Add to Favorites. These labels will not show under the Inbox and can be accessed all the time.
·         The mail app only downloads email from last three months by default. To change that, you need to go to settings. If the left sidebar is not explained, it can be expanded by clicking on three horizontal lines at the left top. Start by clicking at the gear icon, located on the right. At right, a slide in the panel will appear where we can adjust various settings for the Mail app. At the top, click on the manage account. Then, click on the email account you want to adjust settings for. Here, it is for the Gmail account. Click on the report and change name, delete it or change the mailbox sync settings. Selecting this option shall load the Gmail sync settings prompt. Here it can be chosen when new email should be downloaded and whether to download the full message and internet images.
·       Below that change how often to sync your contacts and calendars and how far back you want to download email from. In the end, just turn off email, calendar or contacts. These settings can be adjusted in the same way in the contacts and calendar apps too.
