  7. Click the option next to Play button.
  8. Select Convert.
  9. Now, the player will provide you options to name the file and to select the destination.
  10. Now select the MP3 format.
  11. You click the Edit Profile icon to adjust the encoding settings.
  12. Select Audio Codec and change the bit rate of your choice.
  13. Now click the Save
  14. To begin the process, select Start and there you go.
You can now easily convert any video to audio format with some simple steps. The VLC media player is widely used for streaming a movie or a song. But, it becomes more compatible and convenient with the feature to convert an MP4 media format to an MP3 media format. No one has to switch the software products for different tasks, enabling the user to stay on the same software to perform the tasks to convert a video to audio and play it on the same media player.
