Fortnite: Epic Games prepare to introduce a different Sword type weapon in the game

Recently Frotnite launched its new v7.20 update with a massive list of in-game content and items.

 But with this update data miners have started to hunt for any additional data files to generate leaks and speculations for the forthcoming updates. And indeed they found a resource file with indications of in development Sward weapon.

This new update has, in fact, brought a lot of fresh content for players who have been eagerly anticipating about the new Suppressed Sniper rifle and scoped Revolver.

 Not only such weapon types have been included to the game, but also it has brought back the glider redeploy feature back to the game. Although this is not brought as a feature this time instead it is introduced as an item that requires a free spot to use it.

As previously data miners have proven to be successful in achieving various resources files in the gone updates. Various miners were successful in knowing about the Suppressed Sniper Rifle even before the declaration or hint from Fortnite developers. 

Similarly this time Trix Leaks one of the Fortnite data miners posted on Twitter about various patches in the v7.20 update which are linked to the audio files associated with the Medieval Sword.

Various players and community members have their opinion as some believe it is a Weapon and some are guessing that it could be a new type of pickaxe.

 But as Sr DraBx was successful in finding assets files associated with Medieval Sword which clarifies that this new Medieval Sword is linked to the weapon files and will be a normal weapon and not a pickaxe.

He was also able to spot an image file of this Mystic Sword which he shared with the community by posting it on Twitter.  In the previously gone month, someone was also able to data mine resource file for the Mythic  Infinity Blade.

The Mythic Infinity Blade was only obtainable to an individual player in a match, and it provided an immense advantage to who so ever found it, as it offered great health and speed boost to the bearer.

Eventually, it turned out to be so powerful that Fortnite community started to criticise the weapon, which developers at Fortnite tried to rectify by nerfing it down but finally, they required to vault it as the backlash was very hard on Infinity Blade.

With this Mythic Sword, players are wondering, that will this new sword type weapon would face similar criticism as with the previously vaulted Infinity Blade.

To this Fortnite developers cleared the doubts of Fortnite community by claiming that this Sword type weapon would not be so overpowered as compared to previous Infinity Blade instead it will bring unique and new dynamics to the game.

It would be fascinating to experience this new Medieval Sword in game, and it would improve in-game mechanics. Let wait for this new weapon to be included in the game to understand its mechanics and integrations better.
